Mike Parker has been an active outdoor photographer for over 40 years, concentrating on scenics, close-up photography, and birds, all of the Eastern Shore. He splits his time between Cape Charles and Washington, DC. Living in Cape Charles, has created a growing appreciation of “the Shore” and its many and varied environments and shooting venues. Twice each year he hosts a group of photographers and directs photo shoots in and around the Cape Charles area.
He is retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years service, compiling a generous helping of travel, satisfying assignments, and challenging jobs. His involvement with very sophisticated photographic reconnaissance systems deepened his interest in creative photography and certainly sharpened his technical expertise.
